This chapter covers knitted or crocheted fabrics in the piece. Headings separate them by construction and width: pile and terry knits (60.01), fabrics up to 30 cm wide containing at least 5% elastomeric or rubber thread (60.02) and other narrow knits (60.03), fabrics over 30 cm wide containing 5% or more elastomeric or rubber thread (60.04), warp knits including galloon-machine goods (60.05), and other knitted or crocheted fabrics (60.06). Any reference to knitted goods elsewhere in the tariff also takes in stitch-bonded fabric whose loops are of textile yarn.

The first six digits of every code in this chapter are the same in every country that applies the Harmonized System. The chapter has 6 headings and 118 twelve-digit codes (2026 schedule).
The range is always computed WITHIN a single column: showing the EU column and the all-other-countries column as one range would misstate the duty. The binding rate depends on the twelve-digit code and the country of origin.

Chapter 60 — measure rows in force: 8 · products: 1 · origins: 1 · tariff codes: 8. Measures whose published expiry has passed but which are under an open expiry review ARE included: they remain legally in force and the duty is payable.
What governs the application of a measure is the product definition, not the HS code alone — your goods may fall outside the definition even if they share the code.
